Tiger Woods, Vice Captain Stints

Those who are fans of Tiger Woods have been disappointed for a long time as their favorite player has been suffering from injuries that have kept him from getting back to the playing circles.

However, at the Bahamas recently, he was found to be back in form. It was certainly a delight to see him in action for many. He has also announced his decision to join back and play in the Hero World Challenge tournament that is coming up next month.

Indeed, it would be a long time since he would be back in playing form. He has recently had a stint as vice-captain for the US team for the Ryder Cup. Here he also announced his intention to come back to active form, but again, he withdrew his decision to make a comeback a bit later.

The latest news is that he is looking forward to teeing off at the Albany course where this tournament would be held. It would be definitely a tournament that will have high levels of publicity, as it is already being evident with the announcement that Woods would be participating in the event. The break that Woods has taken was for a period of about 16 months. Hence, fans would be eagerly looking forward to seeing him on the field again.

Woods himself is excited about getting back to the game at the Bahamas in the following month. The tournament would be in the eighteenth year and every year there is a showcase of the best golfers around the world at this tournament. The setting at Albany is also outstanding as per Woods. He thanks Hero MotoCorp or the contribution they have made to his foundation as well as for the support they render to the tournament. It would be a challenge event as part of the PGA Tour.
